Dr. Sara Duvall is the Lead for Media & Technology at Ann Arbor Skyline High School and served on the pedagogical planning team for this new 21st century high school. She leads as a member of the Leadership Team at Skyline and as the District Chair for Secondary Library Services in Ann Arbor Public Schools. Dr. Duvall has published with her team on Google Tools for Student Portfolios, Curriculum Sharing and Assessment. She and her team are the winners of the AASL/Gale Teams Award 2011. She is the Curator of TEDxYouth@AnnArbor, and promotes youth voice at every opportunity. Dr. Duvall has participated in TEDx training in Doha, Qatar; Banff, CA; & Vancouver, CA. She has presented at numerous conferences and professional meetings, including ISTE, ALA, MACUL, Association of Community Access Broadcasters. She continually provides professional development for teachers and administrators in her district on Student Learning Networks, Digital Portfolios, 21st Century Fluencies, Curriculum Sharing and Assessment. She leads a visioning process to invent future focused school library services across her district at the same time as she works with a Student Advisory Council to innovate services in the iCommons@Skyline.
